Everyday I am constantly using technology. When I wake up in the morning the first thing I wake up to is my cell phone alarm. Without that type of technology I would never be able to wake up in the morning. Then I go watch music videos on my TV while I am eating breakfast. I have cable on my television. In the morning or late at night are the only times I watch TV because usually I’m out and about.
On my way to school every morning I listen to a cd. Without my cd player I wouldn’t be able to do this. Also, it’s nice to press a button for my window to go down instead of using a crank.

In school I only use the computer when it’s necessary. For example, in my second period class I like to use the computer to take notes. Last semester I had a yearbook class so I was using the computer everyday to put together our yearbook. During the class I frequently used a camera also. The basis of the class was to go around taking photos of people, uploading them to the computer, and then creating a layout for a page in the yearbook. There wouldn’t be a class if we couldn’t use technology. Using the computer in school is a lot different from using a computer at home. In school many sites are blocked and there is no freedom in where you can surf. In school I barely go on the internet; however, at home I use the computer for things like checking my email, chatting to friend, or simply playing an online game.

Technology has really improved over the years making things easier and more interesting for people throughout their everyday lives.

In my opinion the web 2.0 is nothing but a new term. I believe that this is just a new fancy word to say world wide web. We have always been able to do things like blog and add information to the internet, it's just that no one fully understood how. Now everyone has the knowledge to update and add their own opinions to the internet, so we think that technology is improving, when it is really just our knowledge. Democratization means that it is very easy to get information onto the web. The downfall of this idea is that not everything is one hundred percent true. The information you are reading on the internet can be false because anyone can go onto the web and put whatever they want on it. It can sometimes be frustrating knowing that you might be reading false information and believe it because you think it came from a reliable site. The new web is helpful in ways like blogging or chatting with friends over a simple website like facebook; however, I believe the new web has more downfalls and is becoming too complicated.

Out of all the ads that were aired during the superbowl I think the Budlight one was the most effective. It was a very funny commercial and it got the point across that Budlight is good. The other commercials weren't very interesting and didn't provide a clear message to the viewers. In this commercial all the co-workers are discussing how they can save money. Such things as bonuses and marketing being cut were mentioned as ideas. One guy suggested that maybe they should stop buying beer at every meeting and he got thrown out the window. This tells the viewers that the beer is delicious and is worth giving up important things in the company.
